The stock market was very choppy this week. The market is about as consistent as Man U(it isn’t consistent). As usual, we started the week poorly. With the geopolitical tensions in the middle east affecting oil(been repeating the same stuff for weeks now) and tensions about whether the interest rate will get lower, the market sank. This along with higher global bond yields made this week look like another sad one. BUT, AI, moving like prime Courtouis, saved the day(or rather week). Oracle and Broadcom sorta spiked the markets midweek but then we got our usual sinking because of interest rates. The news of high inflation dampened the market, not because we gotta pay more for stuff(who cares, am I right?) but because now interest rates won’t cut. At the end of the week, the S&P and Nasdaq went up by a bit and the Dow sank. We are gonna see a lot of volatility as the interest rate deadline approaches, so see you then!
